Bulls
These Yearling Angus Bulls represent our most
progressive genetics born last year. These calves were
raised from birth to weaning with no creep feed. After
weaning, the calves are fed a high roughage growing
ratio.
Weaning weights were taken in early September and
yearling weights were taken the last week of January.
The ultrasound EPDs listed in the catalog are the
current EPDs after scanning.
These bulls are guaranteed breeders and have all
passed a breeding soundness exam including a semen
test. Scrotal measurements will be available sale day.
RETAINED INTEREST – We are selling FULL
POSSESSION and 1/2 REVENUE-SHARING SEMEN
INTEREST in every bull in this sale. The bull you
purchase is totally in your control regarding how you
handle the bull and your natural service use. You
receive 100% of the salvage value. Retaining a 1/2
revenue-sharing semen interest simply allows Stevenson
Genetics the right to share in collection of semen, use
of semen from the bull in our herds and the right to
share in semen sale revenue if semen sales become a
possibility on the bull.
Realistically, we will collect semen on only a small
percentage of the bulls selling. It will be an even smaller
number of bulls that will develop a market for semen
sales. However, we are retaining an interest in every bull
because we might identify the next great bull after he
has sold, often later in life, after he has proven himself
in the breeding pasture. If you have any questions or
